Splendor Pink Silhouette Dressed Box #3 - This set
includes a pristine mint brunette #3 with blue eye liner.
She is all original with original top knot and band and
all original paint. Bottom band is replaced. Absolutely
mint and exquisite. Comes with her original TM stand and
booklet. Original Mattel cardboard neck liner is also
included, but it's narrower than the box. Inside of box
bottom was repainted due to water stain. Small area on
inside of lid was repainted as well. Outside is perfect.
What an awesome beauty this is!--

Set Pink Silhouette Dressed Box #3 - This set is
immaculate and includes a pristine mint blonde #3 with
brown eyeliner. This fabulous doll has her original top
and bottom rubberbands and all original paint. She does
not look as if she were ever touched. Box is in
impeccable condition. Comes with original stand, booklet
and neck and foot liners. Booklet is in the original
cello but the cello is torn. This is one of the most
exquisite example of these early store display dolls!--

Easy Dress Box #6 - An absolutely
fabulous set featuring an all original ash blonde #6
ponytail with deep dark coral lips, original top knot and
rubberband and original bottom hard curl. Doll and outfit
are mint. Comes with black wire stand, booklet and
replaced acetate lid. Box looks NM but has had some
restoration work done to it. It is marked Dressed Doll

Party Dress Box #6 - This set
features a beautiful pink-lipped blonde #6. Doll has
original top knot and replaced bottom band with lovely
ringlet curls. Lips have had a slight retouch. She is
just as lovely as she can be and her outfit is mint.
Comes with black wire stand, booklet and replaced acetate
lid. Box is EX and is marked Dressed Doll Garden Party.
There is some shelf wear to the edges. I think 2 corner
seams were repaired but I'm not sure.--$975.00 SOLD

1959 Blonde #1 Ponytail Barbie - A beautiful example of
America's favorite icon! She comes in her original rare
"first-issued" TM box with her original
top-knot and rubberband. Bottom band replaced. She also
still has a hint of original cheek blush. (I find that
just amazing) Her #1 Booklet and #1 shoes are in the
original cello and she has her original neck liner.
Eyebrows are slightly faded but totally intact. Lips have
had a very slight spot touch-up. She wears her original
black and white striped swimsuit and original gold hoop
earrings. Comes with replica stand. Box is NM and marked
Stock No 850 Blond. What a really fantastic example of
the first Barbie ever made!--

1959 Brunette #2 Ponytail Barbie - This doll is NM and
totally fantastic! She looks like a porcelain doll. She
has beautiful all-original orangey-red lips and a china
complexion. Her top knot has been professionally retied.
She comes complete in her rare "first-issued"
TM box, which is marked Stock No 850 brunette and is in
NM condition. Also included is her ultra-rare
"unique" #2 TM stand which has the hole
directly in the center. There are a few small chips
around the hole but they do not affect the functionality
of the stand. Swimsuit, gold hoop earrings, sunglasses,
#1 shoes and #1 booklet are also included as well as her
original neck and foot liners. She is just awesome and oh
sooooo rare--

eyeliner
- This doll is all original with original topknot and
rubberband. She also has her original lower rubberband
but it is cracking up so a new one has been added for
security. She comes mint in her "early-issued"
box with swimsuit, TM pedestal stand, booklet, shoes,
sunglasses and original hoop earrings. Replaced liners.
Box is in beautiful shape and is marked Stock No 850
Blond. One corner seam needs to be reglued. A truely
stunning doll!--

1960 Brunette #3 Ponytail Barbie w/BROWN
eyeliner
- A truely beautiful doll with all original makeup and
long black sultry ponytail. Topknot has been retied with
new rubberband as has the bottom. She comes in her
original "early-issued" box with #1 hoop
earrings, R pedestal stand, swimsuit, sunglasses, booklet
and shoes. Replaced liner. Finger and toe polish need to
be redone. Box is nice and bright but has light tape on 3
corners and a couple of pin holes. A true beauty!--

1960 Blonde #4 Ponytail Barbie - This is a beautiful,
all-original #4 blonde with factory perfect makeup and
original hairset with top wrap and rubberband. She even
has most of her original hard curl still intact. This
doll is one of the most perfect #4's I have ever seen.
Her lips are a beautiful soft orangey-red color. Her hair
is slightly darker on one side. She comes in her original
"early-issued" box with swimsuit, pearl
earrings, shoes, R pedestal stand, booklet, sunglasses
and replaced liner. Booklet shows some wear. Box is
marked Stock No 850 Blond and has a Macys price sticker
on the end flap. One corner seam on lid is loose and
needs reglued. A very pristine doll for your
collection!--

1960 Brunette #4 Ponytail Barbie - Totally exquisite,
absolute "to-die-for" doll that comes complete
in her original box with her swimsuit, pearl earrings,
shoes, booklet, sunglasses, R pedestal stand and replaced
liner. I have never seen another number 4 as lovely as
this. She even has original factory blush. Her hair is
soft and silky. She has her original topknot and the
bottom of her ponytail has remnants of the original
rubberband. This doll's hair was pinned up when I got her
so her hard curl has spread out into beautiful little
ringlets. She was hardly ever played with so she has that
"oh-so-new","right-off-the-shelf "
feeling. Box is NM and is marked Stock No 850 Pony Tail.
One corner may have been repaired but I can not tell for
sure. What a GREAT doll! One of my personal favorites--

specimen. You cant get any better than this. She is
totally all-original with top and bottom wraps and
original hard curl still intact. Bottom rubberband may be
a replacement. She is a semi-greasy face model so treat
her gently. Beautiful all original lucy lips have a
teensy rub on one side. One arm has some very slight play
(not bad at all). She comes in her original
"early-issued" box with her swimsuit, black
wire stand, booklet, shoes, sunglasses and original pearl

1961 Titian #5 Ponytail Barbie - A near perfect rarity!
She is a beautiful example of this HTF hair color. She
has all-original paint and original top wrap and
rubberband. Bottom band is replaced. She is just slightly
greasy so take care of her. Light shadow at ear. She
comes in her "early-issued" box with her
swimsuit, black wire stand, booklet, shoes, sunglasses,
original pearl earrings and original wrist tag (detached
and missing band). Replaced liner. Beautiful NM box

all-original, light blonde, coral-lipped #6 ponytail has
original her original top knot and original bottom
rubberband. Bottom rubberband is cracked open and hard
curl has separated into natural ringlets. Top rubberband
may be cracked underneath top knot as some hair is just a
tad loose. Corner of original factory lip paint is
starting to change color. She comes in her original box
with swimsuit, black wire stand, booklet, shoes and

has original top wrap with replaced bottom band. She is
one of the prettiest #6's I have ever seen as her lips
are fuller than most. She has had a very slight spec that
was touched up. She is just an absolute dynamite doll.
She comes in her original box with swimsuit, black wire
stand, booklet, shoes, original pearl earrings, original
cardboard liner and reattached wrist tag. Her box is

1964 Platinum Swirl Ponytail Barbie - This is a stunning
example of the VHTF doll. She is basically NRFB and comes
in her original box with head cello, reattached wrist
tag, earrings, swimsuit, shoes, booklet, gold wire stand
and original liner. She has not oxydized and has
beautiful white-iced pink lips. The rubberband under her
top knot has split but she is still factory perfect.
Bottom rubberband is perfect with original ribbon and
bobby pin. She is definitely in a league of her own! Box
is NM and is marked Stock No 850 Platinum Ponytail. Small
paper tear on end flap--

1964 Redhead Swirl Ponytail Barbie - A very pretty doll
with original factory hairset with original ribbon. She
does not have her bobby pin. Her hair has darkened
somewhat. Original rubberband in topknot is present but
cracked as knot is slightly loose. Her lips are basically
perfect but there are a few miniscule pin spots where the
paint looks like it is wearing. It's very minor. Her ears
were treated for green, which was removed, but you can
see shadows of where it was. Her face has a somewhat
darker skin tone to it, but she is otherwise mint. She
really is a fabulous doll. She comes in her original box
with her EX swimsuit (repaired strap), black wire stand,
booklet, shoes and original pearl earrings. Replaced
liner. Her nice, white, bright, sparking box is NM.
Someone wrote their name on the front but it was
successfully erased. It is marked Stock No 850 Redhead

1961 Rare Brownette BubbleCut Barbie - One of the rarest
dolls on the face of the planet...this one is absolutely
a heartbreaker! About 7 years ago her lips were
professionally retouched with a water-based paint by the
reknown Barbie restorationist Melissa Windham. In the
process of photographing this doll, 2 spots of paint wore
off ,so you will need to have the lips redone. She also
has a little indent mark on one of her eyelash ridges but
it is minor. Her face is slightly shiney, not bad at all.
She comes in her original "early-issued" box
with original swimsuit, pearl earrings, black wire stand,
original liner and wrist tag . Her shoes, sunglasses and
booklet are unopened, still in original cello. Original
box is in excellent condition with just a few minute
paper scrapes. One corner on the lid was reglued at the
seam. Marked Stock No 850 Bubble Cut. No collection is
complete without this gem!!--

1963 Fashion Queen Barbie - Perfect example of this gorgeous gal.
She has never been removed from her box, but someone had
slit the cello to remove her earrings many years ago. She
does not have any green ear. One area of the cardboard is
slightly bent and the cello is scuffed, torn and taped in
several places. It is the ORIGINAL cello though. Perhaps
the new owner will want to replace the cello with new
shrinkwrap but I'll leave that decision up to you. I
prefer authenticity as you just dont see these in the box

Here she is! The doll of your dreams. A totally mint and
all-original dark silver-brunette high color, long haired
American Girl. You could not ask for a nicer doll. She
comes in a replica box with original swimsuit, shoes,
stand and booklet. What a stunning example of this rare
beauty! Just look at that face. Definitely a COVER-GIRL!
She has large, full, all-original factory raspberry lips
and a hint of original cheek blush. Her hair is long and

black on the back side. So cool! Beautiful high-color

creations! She is mint beyond belief and you will just
love her. She comes with swimsuit, headband, hairclip,
fashion booklet and shoes. Also included are many of her
original box accessories including her purple hanger,

complete and comes with a beautiful, all original,
brunette, bendable leg Francie doll . She comes in her

Barbie Silver 'N Satin Giftset - VERY RARE JC
Penney Exclusive giftset from 1968 featuring a blonde
talking Barbie in the original side swept ponytail
hairstyle, with original elastics and pink bows. She has
beautiful coloring and long rooted lashes. The box she is
in is the rarer, long, clear, plastic first issue style.
Must be a factory error as box states different hair
color than doll. Part of the plastic has come loose on
the sides and there is a small crack. She is held in
place at the shoulders by a plastic strap that her arms
go through. Her clear mod "X" stand is still
inside, as is her original fashion booklet. All clothing
and accessories are in NM condition but need to be
reattached to the original card which is included. Top of
dress needs a new thread for hooking. The giftset box is
in great shape with lovely graphics. No split corners or
repairs but box is a little warped and shows some very
minor shelf wear and creasing.--
